One of the largest private collections of Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the country - American Classic Motorcycle Museum is in the Heart of North Carolina. The walls of the museum feature tools, ads and trinkets of Harley-Davidson from lunch boxes to posters. The museum is conveniently located on US-64 and offers a gift shop and diner.

From the potters that work right beside their home to generations of potters continuing a family legacy, it’s hard to go home empty handed when the handcrafted work can fit any décor, color, and style. It is a unique area to shop on a rainy day – just bring the umbrella.

With plenty of shopping you can’t go wrong – get shoes at Shoe Dept., make your home smell great with scents Bath and Body Works, and grab Chick-fil-A to fuel your day. There is a Cinemark movie theater that hosts up to six movies. It’s one of our favorite ways to stay inside.

For the 18+ crowd take part in traditional indoor axe-throwing.
